Clear Creek Yellow Split Peas are sourced from an Idaho family farm. We are working to provide the flavors and quality of Pacific Northwest grown products, like our dried yellow split peas to our customers.

Our 4 pound Yellow Split Peas are packaged in our kraft bags and heat sealed to preserve the freshness. Kraft bags also help maintain the coloring of the peas by preventing any sun discoloration. These bright yellow peas are beautiful to look at, and even more delicious to eat. Yellow split peas have a smooth buttery flavor and are incredibly versatile, they hold their shape very well, but can also be pureed perfectly. These split peas are perfect for just about any recipe from curried yellow split peas to split pea soup.

How to Cook Yellow Split Peas

1 Cup Dry Yellow Split Peas

3 Cups Water

Rinse the split peas, add 3 cups water to a pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add peas then simmer for 20-30 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain well.

Yellow Split Pea Soup

These yellow split peas are perfect for split pea soup, with their mellow, buttery flavor. They bring a great new take to the ever classic green split pea soup.
