Are your products gluten free?
While our legumes are naturally gluten-free, we do clean wheat in our facility. We follow strict clean down procedures between each product.
Our wheat berries contain gluten.
Are peanuts processed in your facility?
We do not grow, process, or package peanuts in our facility.
What allergens are handled in your facility?
We do grow, process and package wheat in our facility.
We do not grow, process and package soy, eggs, peanuts, fish, shellfish or dairy in our facility.
Should I store your products in the fridge or freezer?
We do not recommend storing your products in the fridge or freezer. We recommend a cold, dry, dark location like a cupboard or pantry.
How should I store your product?
If you plan on keeping your product over 6 months we recommend moving your product to an airtight glass or plastic container.
If you are looking to use your product for long term storage we recommend a mylar bag or food grade bucket with a gamma lid, oxygen absorbers are optional for our products. Our products are ideal for long term storage as long as they kept in the dark, cool and dry.
Will your products sprout?
All products our wheats, brown lentils, green lentils, and garbanzo beans will sprout.
What wheat berries are best for growing Rejuvelac?
Any of our wheat berries can be used for Rejuvelac however, we recommend using Hard Red Winter Wheat.
What is the best wheat berry for growing wheatgrass?
All of our wheat berries will work for wheatgrass, but we recommend the Hard Red Winter Wheat.
Do I need to wash the wheat before grinding it for flour?
No, you do not need to wash your wheat before grinding them flour. We triple clean our wheat berries before we send them to you.
Do you grow or carry heirloom varieties of wheat?
Our wheat berries are Non-GMO but they are not heirloom varieties like Einkorn.
Which products are plastic-free packaging?
Our 3 lb and 5 lb bags are plastic-free packaging.
How do I recycle my bags? Can I send them back?
Unfortunately, we cannot reuse the bags due to food safety. Burlap is a compostable material and our bags can be reused for fun everyday projects. We have seen them made into bags, wall art, pillows and clothespin holders. Send us pictures of your creation we would love to see it!

We ship FREE to all 50 US states as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Armed Forces America, Europe, and Pacific. (This excludes shipping of buckets to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories.)
We can ship internationally, however, shipping and customs can be quite expensive. If you would like us to price shipping for you please send us your address with your request.
