Palouse Brand’s family farm spans 5 generations of the Mader family and over 125 years farming on the Palouse. We are a vertically integrated company, passionate about giving consumers an authentic farm to table experience; we care for our grains and legumes all the way from putting the seeds into the fields, to shipping the packaged product to our customers.  

Straight from our Fields

Growing our own products allows us to have full transparency with our customers and the ability to provide them with field locations, crop photos throughout the growing process, seeding and harvest dates, as well as overall weather conditions that would affect the crop over the year, such as total rainfall. This also allows us to provide our most recent crop year, giving our customers up to date, and accurate information on their foods.

Women- Led Workplace

Palouse Brand also prides ourselves on being a women-led company. When Sara Mader started Palouse Brand she wanted to provide a flexible workplace for working women and families in our rural community so that the needs of both work and family could be met. This has developed into a packaging line run and managed by women.

Connecting with our Customers

Bridging the consumer conversation gap gives us the opportunity to receive feedback from our customers and work towards updating our operations in response to that feedback. Changes like removing the plastic lining in our burlap bags were put into action thanks to that connection with our customers. The Mader family and Palouse Brand are constantly working to grow our outreach by moving into more marketplaces and connecting with more consumers so that we can continue to provide high quality products that our customers love.
