Clear Creek Red Lentils are sourced from an Idaho family farm. We are working to bring nutrient rich products like our bulk red lentils sourced specifically from Pacific Northwest farms. Our 5 pound cotton bag is not only an environmentally friendly packaging option but also has a drawstring for the preservation of the red lentils. 

Our gorgeous red lentils have a mellow, sweet flavor and they puree beautifully into a creamy blend. Cooking red lentils is so easy and takes less than half an hour, so you can use them to make soups, red lentil dal, curried red lentils and so much more. Dried red lentils are easy to cook in just fifteen minutes and don’t require any prior soaking.

How to Cook Red Lentils

1 Cup Dry Red Lentils

3 Cups Water

Rinse the lentils, add 3 cups of water to a pot, bring water to a rolling boil, add lentils, then simmer for 15-20 minutes or to desired tenderness. Drain well.

HOW TO SPROUT RED LENTILS

1 Cup Dry Red Lentils

Rinse lentils in cold water, then drain a total of three times. Transfer drained lentils to a 1 quart glass jar and cover lentils with cold water. Cover the jar with a paper towel and secure with a rubber band then let sit 12 hours.

Drain lentils and re-cover, letting sit at room temperature. Rinse and drain the lentils 1-2 times daily until sprouted.
